Sri Patna Sahib
Bihar and its capital Patna is one of the most historical places in the entire world and is a tourist spot for anyone who visits the country of India. Many visit the northeastern part of the country in order to catch a piece of the history that is felt there, including all of the mythological origins that are within Patna. Sri Patna Sahib is one place that many tourists seek out because of its significance.

Sri Patna Sahib is so well known because it is the birthplace of the legendary Guru Gobind Singh Ji back in 1966. Guru Gobind Singh Ji spent his first few years in the city of Patna and learned the customs of the Indian city and spent much time there. Guru Gobind was the tenth guru of the Sikhs. Because of the historic birth of the leader in Patna it has since been visited by figures Guru Nanak and Guru Tegh Bahadur.

Sri Patna Sahib is also so popular because of its historical background including its relevance with Patna University. The University does much work with the location and many studies are done each year in the area to relive the times that are past.

Being the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Patna Sahib is a great location for a tourist to check out. It is not on many of the tour books for Patna and is more of a historical standpoint than a highly visited place. Either way, Patna Sahib is a must see if you want to see the entire Patna package.
