Introduction to Patna
Patna is one of the greatest cities in all of India and serves as the capital of Bihar. Located in the Northeastern regions of India Patna is a city of over 1.2 million residents and is a widely sought out tourism hotspot. Many want to check out Patna for its historic relevance and its mythological background. Patna is one of India’s prized cities and is well kept and well organized.

A few of Patna’s additional extras that are supported throughout India are the daily newspaper that is distributed nationwide (The Patna Daily) and the government system (The High Court of Patna) which serves many of India’s toughest law decisions.

Patna, India is a place where many like to visit and there are a lot of places that a tourist can view. Among those are:

  • The historice Agam Kuan, which is the mythological and unfathomable well which allegedly dated back to the Ashokan Period
  • The Patna Planetorium, among the largest planetoriums in the country
  • Bankipore Club, set on the Ganges River this dance hall was built in the 17th century and is still used frequently. 
  • Patna Science College, this is the home of many scholars and some of the best scientific equipment in all of India.

Patna, India is known for its harsh climate as well. Of course, tourism is highest in its steaming summer months (beginning in April) but the city is also known for its brutal winters which bring below freezing temperatures.

The uniquness of Patna, India is what keeps bringing people back.
